The Academy Building on Broerstraat, built in 1909, was designed in the Northern Dutch neo-Renaissance style. It is the flagship building of the University of Groningen. In addition to lecture and seminar halls, it houses a coffee bar and the Aula, where the university holds promotions, inaugural lectures, and other formal ceremonies.

In the lobby of the academy building, the musical ensemble Repete sings about what truly matters. And get closer in the final theater piece, no matter who you are or what you’ve been through.
